How to Apply (Canadian/Permanent Residents)


Step 1: Pick a Program and Campus Location

Select a Program and location. You may apply for up to two programs.

Step 2: Review Program Admission Requirements

Review admission requirements and arrange to have the following documents sent to the College Admissions Service:

  • An official high school transcript
  • Other post-secondary transcripts (If Applicable)
  • Other admission documents required to assess the file (Examples: Proof of Language Requirements, Portfolio, Mature Student Application Form, etc.)

Step 3: Review Tuition and Fees

Review the costs associated with studying full time at NBCC.

Step 4: Submit your Application

Option 1: Apply Online (Recommended)

If you apply online, you must pay online. The $50 application fee payment is required before submitting your application online. [see PAYMENT OPTIONS]

Note: You can save & return to your application any time during the process prior to submitting it final.

Option 2: Apply In Person

You can apply in person at any of our six NBCC campus locations.

Option 3: Apply By Telephone

Call 1-888-796-NBCC

Note: It will be important for you to provide an active e-mail address since many important communication pieces will be sent to you by e-mail. Ensure your email security settings are set to receive emails from NBCC. Check your junk mail if not receiving.

If you cannot apply online, contact the College Admissions Services (CAS):

Step 5: Submit your Required Documents

While submitting your online application, be sure to include your official high school, college and/or university transcripts and/or further documentation for admission to certain programs.

Important: If you are a Mature Applicant candidate or Special Admissions applicant, ensure you have completed the additional application form and/or extra steps required .

NOTE: Transcripts are official ONLY if received directly from the institution via email sent directly to admissions@nbcc.ca or submitted on campus in a sealed envelope.

All submitted documents become the property of NBCC and will NOT be returned – please do not send original versions via mail.

Step 6: Review Admission Process

As part of NBCC’s First Qualified, First Accepted admissions process, qualified applicants who apply first will be admitted first. To do so, applicants must submit a complete application package that will be time stamped upon receipt. [see ADMISSION PROCESS]
