Printing


All students are able to print from computer lab machines to the pre-installed printers in the lab. NBCC offers students the ability to print directly from their devices by following the instructions below.

Important: You MUST be on campus for this setup process.

Student Print Credits

Beginning in Sep 2024, students will receive $38 in print credits. Cost break down for different print options are as below:

Students will receive print credits twice per academic year, once in September and again in January.

Students can purchase additional print credits from their campus bookstores in the following increments: $5, $10, and $25. If a student has excess print credits at the end of a term, their remaining print credits will not carry over into the next term.

Students can view their print credits balance online by logging into their account with their NBCC credentials. Please note that print credits are non-refundable.

Can I print anything I want?

We provide you with print credits to print the materials you need for your academic program, not for personal use. All printing is monitored through our network.

Who will receive print credits?

Students who are actively enrolled in courses will receive print credits at the beginning of the September and January terms.

How many credits will I receive?

Students receive $38 in print credits in September and an additional $38 in print credits in January. The cost breakdown is as below:

How many print credits do I need for plotting work?

Plotters are provided to those who need them as part of their program, and they are monitored through the network. You will not be required to use your print credits for plotting work.

How can I purchase additional print credits?

Print credits are available to purchase in the following increments: $5, $10, and $25. Students studying on the Fredericton Campus can purchase print credits from the Welcome Desk. All other NBCC students can purchase them through their campus store.

Will I lose my print credits at the end of a term if I don’t use them?

Any remaining print credits at the end of a term will not carry over into the next term and are non-refundable.

Where can I view my print credits balance?

Login to your account using your NBCC credentials to view your print credits balance. 

What else do I need to know?
  • There are no refunds for print credits, and they are not redeemable for "cash value"
  • NBCC Printers will continue to default to print black and white, double-sided, where possible
