Adult Learners

Going back to school as an adult learner can seem intimidating. Just know that you are not alone, 33% of our students are over 25 years old. NBCC is here to support you along the way.

Explore Programs
Whether you’re looking to get your high school diploma, upgrade your skills or train for a new career, we have a variety of programs to meet your learning needs. Study full-time, or part-time through online or in person courses.

Receive Credit for Work Experience
We offer a service, called Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), which assesses the skills you already have and awards credit where applicable. Credit equivalency acknowledges learning that has been achieved through experience.

Affordable Education
Our tuition is a fraction of the cost of most other post-secondary options. Plus, there’s hundreds of thousands in scholarships awarded each year.

Transitioning Life to College
NBCC developed a transition program designed to assist students who have been out of school for a few years to help adapt to college life. Learn strategies to be successful in the classroom and find out about NBCC’s Support Services.
