Important Dates and Timelines for International Students

NBCC is proud to offer three (3) annual intakes within each academic year.  It is important to note that not all campus-specific programs are offered in each intake.  For information on programs offered by NBCC please review our Full-Time Programs.  For a list of programs still accepting applications for an open intake, visit the Seats Available for International Students page.

Important Information

• Fall Intake – Application opens on June 1 of previous year. Application evaluation begins October 15 each year for the following September start programs.
• Winter Intake – Application opens on October 1 of previous year. Application evaluation begins February 15 each year for the following January start programs.
• Spring Intake – Application opens on January 1 of previous year. Application evaluation begins June 15 each year for the following April start programs.
• Applicants will receive an acknowledgment email for each campus-specific program on receipt of their application. 
• The evaluation process is approximately 6 to 8 weeks for all applications.  Timeframe may vary depending on the number of applications received. 
• Evaluations are completed on a campus-specific basis.  Applications received are time and date stamped on completion which sets the priority for the evaluation process. Evaluation decisions will be issued by email only once the evaluation is completed. 
• Applications are program-, campus- and intake-specific.  To change your program selection on your application, an Application Program Change Request form must be completed.
• Waitlisted and accepted applications may be eligible for a one-time deferral to the next academic year for the same program at the same campus.  For eligibility details, please see Deferring Applications.
