How Do I Apply?

Step 1: Visit our How To Apply page and find out how you can select your program, apply online, and make your payment. Follow Steps 1-7.

Step 2: Complete the Homeschooled Student Application Form (pdf)

Step 3: Submit your completed form, transcript, and additional supporting documents in your NBCC Application Portal by clicking the "Upload Document" button.

Please note that your program application will not be considered complete, or eligible for evaluation until your Homeschooled Student Application Form and additional supporting documents are received.

How do I complete the Homeschooled Student Application Form?

• Download the Homeschooled Student Application Form (pdf) (IMPORTANT: right-click the link and select "Save target as…" or "Save link as…" to download and save to your computer)
• Right-Click the downloaded form and select "Open With... Adobe Reader" (if you do not have Adobe Reader installed, please visit https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ to install).
• Fill in the applicable fields.
• Save the form as a PDF.

What else do I need to know?

• Life experience matters! If you completed previous post-secondary courses or acquired program/course-related work experience, you may be eligible for credit transfer or formal recognition through our RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) program.
• Post-secondary education is an investment that pays off! Learn about financial options available while attending college.
