Mature Applicants

NBCC supports life-long learning. Do you qualify as a mature applicant?

  • You are at least 21 years of age and do NOT meet admission requirements for your program choice
  • You can provide proof of industry skills or related experience to compensate for the lack of pre-requisite/s
  • You can provide a resume and references as per Mature Applicant pathway application process
  • You have completed the "Mature Student Admission Application Form" and submit to admissions@nbcc.ca
Note: Excludes Practical Nurse Program and may exclude other accredited programs due to association standards

  • Life experience matters! If you completed previous post-secondary courses or acquired program/course related work experience, you may be eligible for credit transfer or formal recognition through our RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) program.
  • Post-secondary education is an investment that pays off! Learn about financial options available while attending college.
