Aspiring entrepreneurs who receive strong support and mentorship opportunities stand a greater chance of succeeding and becoming tomorrow’s job creators. Where an increasing number of NBCC students and graduates are choosing entrepreneurship
as a pathway to success, our College will enhance our educational programs and develop new initiatives that nurture young entrepreneurs and guide them toward success.
One such initiative is the Entrepreneur-in-Residence program.
The Entrepreneur-in-Residence program is designed to bring successful New Brunswick entrepreneurs to our campuses, giving students the opportunity to connect with seasoned entrepreneurs who can share their expertise, provide direct business counsel and
help students further their own business goals. For the 2019-2020 year we have three Entrepreneurs in Residence across NBCC (pdf).
In coordination with NBCC Entrepreneurship Coordinator, the Entrepreneur- in- Residence will play a lead role in mentoring inexperienced students in the early stages of business planning and nurturing these students to develop and organize ideas and follow
a path towards making their ideas a reality. Whether the Entrepreneur-in-Residence is assisting with business plan development and implementing business concepts, or organizing guest lectures and student workshops that enhance student education, our
students will receive support to further their own entrepreneurial goals.

NBCC campuses are located on Mi’kmaq, Wolastoq and Peskotomuhkati homelands. Since 1726 this land has been subject to treaties that are still in effect today. We are grateful to learn together on this land and do so guided by the original spirit
of those treaties - peace, respect and friendship.
