Event Details

Date: Thursday, October 29th, 2020

Time: The event will begin at 9:00 am and there will be a variety of live sessions running throughout the day until the evening. Watch them all or choose the sessions that are of most interest to you.

Schedule of Events

Join Career & Wellbeing Counsellors, Renelle and Janet, as they discuss the importance of making informed decisions when transitioning into a career. With the help of a “Career Decision Wheel”, they will discuss six elements to consider before making career decisions: Interests, Personality Types, Opportunities, Values, Skills, Labour Market and Barriers.

This session will provide you with the information you need to know when considering NBCC. Learn about our program options, admission requirements, the application process, student supports, and financial assistance. We will also have time for questions at the end of the presentation.

Learn how studying at NBCC could be an ideal fit for International Students. This session will cover program options, tuition and fees, the application process, student supports, and what it’s like to live in New Brunswick. We will also have time for questions at the end of the presentation.

Don't know who to ask about student loans? Nervous about an upcoming test? Curious about Indigenous culture? Need help citing resources for a paper? Feeling alone? This session will provide you with information on the various support services NBCC provides. You’ll hear from our Accessibilities Services, Career & Wellbeing Counsellor, Indigenous Student Advisor/Alumni, Financial Supports, Library Services and NBCC Student Union.

Join NBCC’s International Immigration Advisor for an overview about working while you study and staying in Canada after your graduation from NBCC. Hear about the paths to Canadian permanent residency for NBCC international alumni!
