NBCC recognizes that our students are managing academic, financial, career and family challenges amid the current global situation. Our counselling and career services provide a multi-faceted stepped care approach, offering students options to receive support in a variety of ways. From individual counselling sessions by phone, text or video chat, to self-directed online resources and NBCC’s Mental Wellbeing App, students have choices to take charge of improving their directions and wellbeing. 2SLGBTQIA+ Wellness Coordinator

Cassidy Wilson (she/her/hers) is the tri-campus (NBCC, UNB & STU) 2SLGBTQIA+ Wellness Coordinator. Her role aims to support queer and trans students' mental well-being, academic success, and retention. Cassidy provides counseling psychotherapy to students, but she also works doing education outreach, policy development, advising program development, community building, outreach, and academic mediation.
