Course Description: The New Brunswick Pesticide Applicator Core Exam, based on the Atlantic Canada Pesticide Applicator Core Training Manual (2006 Edition), is intended for individuals applying pesticide commercially (for fee or reward). The Pesticide Applicator Core Exam, taken with the appropriate (industry specific) component exam(s), complete(s) the total knowledge requirement for commercial/professional certification in New Brunswick. The New Brunswick Pesticide Applicator Core Exam tests the examinee’s understanding of the basic knowledge requirements for commercial/professional certification in New Brunswick.
 
The New Brunswick Pesticide Applicator Forestry/Industrial Exam, based on the New Brunswick Forestry/Industrial Pesticide Safety Training Manual (1999 Edition), is intended for individuals applying pesticide commercially (for fee or reward) by ground for conifer release and/or residual hardwood control and/or site preparation in forests. The New Brunswick Pesticide Applicator Forestry/Industrial Exam tests the candidate’s understanding of the specific knowledge required for commercial/professional forestry/industrial (Class C) pesticide applicator certification in New Brunswick.

A passing grade of 75% or above is required to successfully pass these exams.
