French: Beginner I

Course Description: Students reach a degree of competency and confidence when speaking French by communicating in typical daily situations, both for work or for personal reasons. After introduction to the teaching objectives, students must transfer what they have learned to real-life communication. As they are learning their numbers, vocabulary to describe their immediate environment and introductory expressions, they can transfer this learning by making basic introductions and initiating a basic conversation.

Participants must be at least 16-years old, unless otherwise noted.

Books: For online courses, due to COVID – 19, students requiring textbooks should source their books from online vendors. Students are responsible to obtain their books before the course starts.  For all other courses, please refer to the associated campus. Prices quoted are approximate. There are no refunds for textbooks or materials.
