Employee Giving

NBCC staff have always been quick to step up and support causes close to our hearts, from Critical Aid to the NBCC Family Bursary Fund, so students can stay focused on their studies instead of their finances.

Each year, close to 200 NBCC staff give to support students.  Our staff believe in what we do and see first-hand the impact that collective giving has on students.

Each quarter we will be highlighting two of our many staff donors with their ‘Why I Give’ statement.  We love recognizing our staff donors, and we appreciate you!

Why I give to NBCC...

Clarissa Moseley

Clarissa Moseley
Head of Experiential Learning

I became a donor to be part of something larger, and I remain a donor because I believe in empowering students to achieve their goals. As the Head of Experiential Learning, I am dedicated to preparing our learners for success, including helping them overcome financial barriers so they can fully realize their career potential.

Instructor, School of Trades

We all have been there in our lives, when we were students, the financial stress sometimes builds so much that it will affect your studies and concentration. I love knowing that what I donate may help a student or students feel a bit less stressed and can concentrate more on their education than financial worries. In turn they may pay it forward.

Angie Godin

Local Community Engagement Strategist

I give because I have seen firsthand how impactful a bursary can be to a deserving student. The financial relief could literally be what allows them to continue their studies at NBCC.  The staff donor process makes it so simple and easy to give and if we all give a little, it adds up to a lot!

Jim Blanchard

Jim Blanchard
IT Applications Analyst

As a native New Brunswicker and long-time employee of NBCC, I became a donor because I believe in the great work we're doing to educate and prepare our students for meaningful and rewarding employment here in my home province. Since many of our graduates choose to stay in New Brunswick making a difference in their communities and helping to grow our economy, I know NBCC works.

Keisha Peters

Keisha Peters
Coordinating Instructor - IT: Business Analysis

Education creates numerous opportunities and positions individuals to grow, develop and support themselves in many ways. I believe avenues toward this incredible asset should be possible for anyone who desires to attain it. This is my primary motivation for supporting causes that aid in individuals achieving such goals.
