School of Hospitality and Tourism

School of Hospitality & Tourism

The Hospitality and Tourism sector is big business both in New Brunswick and around the world. Whether you’re interested in creating amazing food, managing hospitality venues, or planning and executing large scale events, NBCC will prepare you for a versatile and exciting career.

Experience the grand impact of NBCC’s School of Hospitality and Tourism while enjoying the intimate charm of our close-knit community, fostering a vibrant atmosphere that allows you to explore your creativity in the world of hospitality. You’ll learn from experienced professionals, work in state-of-the-art facilities - such as our student-run restaurants and kitchens - and you’ll be part of planning and executing special events throughout the year. You may also participate in experiential work experiences such as field placements and industry networking events that connect you with tourism and hospitality operators throughout the province and beyond.

Through agreements with other educational institutions, our programs also present additional learning pathways for those who wish to continue their education. The credits earned at NBCC can be accepted and applied to your new educational opportunities, giving you a head start. We also have learner pathways in place that provide unique opportunities while you’re a student at NBCC, such as our agreement with the University of California Riverside (UCR), where select NBCC students can enroll in a six-month program that includes academic coursework in California, and academic training experience at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida through the Disney Theme Parks and Resorts International College Program. In addition to an NBCC diploma, program participants receive a Certificate in Applied Management for Hospitality and Tourism from UCR.

No matter what program you choose to pursue in our School of Hospitality and Tourism, when you graduate, you’ll be ready to work and lead in the hospitality industry - an industry that will take you on a journey of a lifetime!
