Maestro Fresh Wes Scholarship


This award was established by Wes Williams, a.k.a. Maestro Fresh Wes, to create a positive change in the life of a trade’s student, helping them financially so that they can thrive in their studies, and get out into the high-demand workforce with the skills needed to succeed.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Be enrolled full-time in any trades program at the Saint John campus
  • Self-identify as black, African-Canadian, or African-American

Please note: This bursary is not available to International students.

Bursary Amount

This bursary is awarded at $1500 and is to be deposited into the students' account to be applied against tuition and fees by the end of September.

Bursary Details

In the event the recipient withdraws or does not meet the terms for renewal, another recipient will be selected to receive the bursary based on the criteria.

Applications will be accepted between June 3 - August 2, 2024.
