Business Trades Bootcamp

This six-week hybrid course is designed for new and emerging trades entrepreneurs in New Brunswick who want to strengthen the business side of their work. Through a combination of weekly online modules and in-person Saturday sessions, participants develop practical skills in strategy, financial management, hiring and workforce planning, legal and regulatory awareness, marketing, and sales. Rather than focusing on theory, the course guides participants in applying each concept directly to their own business. By the end of the program, participants will have built a personalized Trades Business Playbook that outlines their business model, pricing approach, compliance requirements, marketing strategy, and operational priorities, providing a practical roadmap for running a sustainable trades business in New Brunswick.

Program Structure

• January 18^th, 2027 to February 27^th, 2027
• 54 hours over 6 weeks (evenings and weekends)
• Online + in-person learning sessions

Admission Requirements

• Must be currently employed in the Trades
• Open to all applicants, with preference given to residents of the Saint John area
