Sept. 22, 2026 – SAINT JOHN, NB: Media representatives are invited to attend a New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) event celebrating the unveiling of the new Virtual Reality (VR) Lab, made possible through a generous community investment from RBC Foundation. The lab will help equip learners with the skills, confidence, and hands-on experience needed to contribute to high-demand sectors and emerging occupations across New Brunswick.

The VR Lab creates a safe, engaging, and highly interactive environment where students can explore real-world scenarios and experience situations that otherwise would be difficult, costly, or impossible to replicate in a traditional classroom.

WHEN: Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.

WHAT: The event will include a hands-on VR demonstration, ribbon cutting, executive speeches, and a campus tour.
