Program changes for 2023-24 academic year

As it continues to invest in programming that aligns with its strategic goal of delivering education that works, NBCC has announced the following program changes for the 2023-24 academic year:

  • Machinist in Saint John will be suspended due to ongoing enrolment challenges. Machinist will continue to be offered at the Moncton Campus.

  • A proposed additional cohort of Human Services Practitioner in St. Andrews, set to begin in September 2023, will not proceed due to low enrolment.

  • NBCC will defer the start date of its Private Security and Investigative Officer program to January 2024.

  • NBCC will change the name of the Community Pharmacy Assistant program to Pharmacy Assistant.

  • NBCC will change the certification level of Information Technology: Cybersecurity to become a graduate certificate rather than a diploma of advanced studies.

Students currently enrolled in these programs will continue to completion with no impact as a result of these changes.
