As it continues to invest in programming that aligns with its strategic goal of delivering education that works, NBCC has announced the following program changes for the 2023-24 academic year:
Machinist in Saint John will be suspended due to ongoing enrolment challenges. Machinist will continue to be offered at the Moncton Campus.
A proposed additional cohort of Human Services Practitioner in St. Andrews, set to begin in September 2023, will not proceed due to low enrolment.
NBCC will defer the start date of its Private Security and Investigative Officer program to January 2024.
NBCC will change the name of the Community Pharmacy Assistant program to Pharmacy Assistant.
NBCC will change the certification level of Information Technology: Cybersecurity to become a graduate certificate rather than a diploma of advanced studies.
Students currently enrolled in these programs will continue to completion with no impact as a result of these changes.
