Flags to fly at half-mast to mark Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace

Flags at all NBCC locations will be lowered to half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Sunday, April 28, 2019, to mark the Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace.

This Day of Mourning commemorates workers who have been killed, injured or suffered illness due to workplace related hazards and incidents. 

As buildings are closed for the weekend, flags will be lowered at close of business on Friday, April 26 and remain at half-mast until the resumption of business on Monday, April 29.
