International Education Week


International Education Week (IEW) is celebrated worldwide every third week of November. Our celebrations here at NBCC coincide with those held in over 100 countries around the globe. This year's IEW provides an opportunity to showcase the cultural diversity of our wonderful international student population, highlight some of their inspiring stories, and share some of their culture.

NBCC is home to 2168 international students from 74 countries around the world. Explore the map below to see which countries are represented at the College.

Global Village

In recognition of Global Education Week (Nov. 13 – 17, 2023), NBCC is teaming up with the NBCCSU to host Global Village events across six campus locations! Interested in showcasing your culture at your campus? Learn more and book your table today.

Permanent Residency Information Session

Join NBCC’s Immigration Advisor, Kathleen Cobb, to learn about pathways to permanent residency in Canada! Learn some of the key terminology that is used in the Canadian immigration system when discussing permanent residency and get helpful resources to continue researching your options to stay in Canada permanently. This webinar will be hosted on Tuesday, November 14th at 5:00 p.m. and will be recorded. You can register by viewing this event on your Brightspace Event Calendar.
