Experience: Kurtis has worked his way up the ladder at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick to his current position as CEO, where he oversees a team responsible for achieving significant fundraising growth of 126 per cent, with more than $3.4 million in revenue.
Behind the Scenes: Kurtis is known as a passionate leader in the non-profit sector and has been a part of many provincial and national committees, including serving as co-chair of the national Relay for Life committee, chair of the national Heart and Stroke Foundation Fund Development committee, chair of the Provincial HealthPartners committee and member of the national Heart Healthy Children and Youth Working Group.
