Date of Appointment: July 1, 2022

Education: Secondary diploma from International School of Amsterdam; Accommodation, Food and Beverage diploma from NBCC; Business degree from UNB; Community College Education diploma from NSCC; Instructor Development Program at NBCC; and various professional development certificates.

Experience: Aynslie spent four years working in the hospitality industry before returning to UNB to complete her business degree.  Since then, she has worked in the post secondary field, first as a recruiter for UNB, then as the Coordinator of College Recruitment for NSCC.  She worked at NBCC as the Graduate Employment Officer and completed a brief stint as Coordinator of Student Services at a private post-secondary school before returning to NBCC to join the marketing team.  She is currently an instructor at the Moncton Campus but has also worked as assistant to the registrar and administrative assistant to department heads.

Behind the Scenes: Aynslie is a mental health advocate, a running coach, a Scouts Canada volunteer and a hockey mom.

Aynslie on NBCCNBCC’s applied learning model and small class sizes allow instructors to be facilitators of learning, guiding their students toward their education/career goals.  The uniqueness of being a name, not a number, gives students the feeling of belonging that improves the teaching environment and learning experience.
