International Academic Pathways

NBCC offers students the opportunity to build on their education in partnership with our international partner institutions. The following institutions accept credit and advanced placement for students that have completed a program at NBCC. 

International Institutions

Technical University of the Shannon (TUS) - Ireland

  • Graduates of the Animation and Graphics diploma program are eligible to enter Year 3, Level 7 of the Bachelor of Arts in Animation and Motion Design.
  • Graduates of the Graphic and Communications Design diploma program are eligible to enter Year 3, Level 7 of the BSc in Graphic Design Communication.
  • Graduates of the Information Technology: Game Development diploma program are eligible to enter Year 3, Level 7 of the BSc in Games Design and Development.

Robert Gordon University (RGU) - Scotland

Graduates of the Business Administration: Management diploma program are eligible to enter the final year (Year 3) in the following programs*:

  • BA (Hons) Digital Marketing
  • BA (Hons) Events Management
  • BA (Hons) Fashion Management
  • BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management
  • BA (Hons) International Tourism Management
  • BA (Hons) Management

Graduates of the Business Administration: Marketing diploma program are eligible to enter the final year (Year 3) in the following programs*:

*All applicants must satisfy RGU’s general admissions requirements as contained in Academic Regulations A2: Admissions, including academic and English language entry requirements.

University of California, Riverside - United States of America

Students in NBCC’s Hotel and Restaurant Management program can earn academic credits and a Professional Certificate in Applied Management for Hospitality and Tourism with hands-on training at Walt Disney World Resorts.

University of Maine at Presque Isle - United States of America

Graduates of NBCC's Social Service Community Worker program may be eligible for transfer credit to the University of Maine at Presque Isle - Bachelor of Social Work.

Canadian Institutions
