For the eighth year in row, New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) has been named one of Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers. This special designation, announced in the January edition of Atlantic Business magazine, recognizes employers in the four Atlantic Provinces that offer exceptional places to work.
“Despite unprecedented disruption, we regrouped and emerged stronger than ever as a team,” said Mary Butler, President and CEO of NBCC. “It is only through the collective leadership of everyone at NBCC that we continue to strive for excellence and exceed expectations. Everywhere you look at NBCC, from student activities to the extraordinary efforts of staff, you see people Going Beyond. This mantra exemplifies the NBCC spirit and is why it is such a special place to work and learn.”
Workplaces named to the Top Employers list are judged on eight criteria: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social opportunities; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
