Human Service Practitioner

The Human Services to Social Service Community Worker Pathway of four courses to the second year of the Social Service Community Worker Program is designed for graduates from NBCC’s Certificate of Human Services program.

Upon completing the four courses, the student can apply to the second year of the Social Service Community Worker Program.

This ongoing training provides a solid knowledge base for students to enter the second year of the SSCW with introductory skills in the areas of family dynamics, communications, and counselling. It also prepares learners to integrate group processes in a new and collaborative approach with fellow second year SSCW students.

Admission Requirements

Certificate in the NBCC Human Services program between 2016 - 2021. (All registrants are required to show proof of an approved certificate in the first 25% of their first course.)
