Experience: Catherine is currently Senior Business Consultant for Bell Canada, specializing in execution of strategy through Portfolio Management, Change Management, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile Scrum and Innovation best practices. Prior to joining Bell in 2018, Catherine worked for several years for the Government of New Brunswick, leading the Strategic Portfolio Management group in the Office of Strategy Management, Executive Council Office. She has been involved in leading companies, projects, and portfolios for more than 25 years, many of which were spent as an independent business consultant in Germany, Luxembourg, India and the United Kingdom in technology, financial solution development. She returned to Canada and her home province of NB in 2011.
Behind the Scenes: Catherine has been involved with community-based organizations and not for profits, most recently participated in fundraising to fight homelessness in Fredericton. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring North America on her motorcycle, playing with her five grandchildren, and hanging out with her recently widowed Dad, all while always studying a course or two on the side.
Catherine on NBCC: As a lifelong learning addict, I am passionate to help others understand and embrace the change in the world, to not be afraid to take a giant leap at any age, and to learn something new and different. NBCC was one of my first of many post-secondary institutions and with such a positive learning experience I am very excited to now be able to help NBCC students and staff to also build on their joy in these programs and to find the many adventures a College like this can trigger in our lives.
