Education: Samar holds an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Adult Education, English as a Second Language, and Socio-Economics from the University of New Brunswick. She also holds a Master's degree in Theoretical and Socio Linguistics.

Experience: Samar is an accomplished academic and higher education professional committed to diversity, equity, and cultural understanding. Her career has spanned various academic and leadership roles aimed at nurturing a culture of respect, understanding, and collaboration. It is centered around empowering individuals through education and fostering global understanding through diplomacy. Samar has worked to promote these values and connect the interests of people, institutions, colleges, and universities with innovative new projects to support education, creativity, opportunity, quality, and economic development.

At the heart of her work is a belief that education has the power to transform individuals and communities, allowing every individual to thrive and excel with the correct information, education, and support.

Behind the Scenes: Samar has served on diverse boards both nationally and internationally. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fredericton and Area Women & Business Network, Speakers Corner, and is part of the Fredericton Anti-Racism Task Force. She loves helping people and is determined to empower, facilitate connections, and cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive, grow, and succeed.
