WAEC or NECO Certificates

Applicable to applicants from Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Gambia.

NBCC applicants with WAEC or NECO certificates are required to purchase a West African Examination Council (WAEC) scratch card or National Examination Council (NECO) scratch card.

This information will be used to confirm WAEC results at www.waecdirect.org or www.mynecoexams.com. Locations on where to purchase a scratch card can be found on the respective websites.

Admissions decision will be based on your WAEC or NECO results. A minimum score of C6 on English and Math is required for admission to NBCC. Additional postsecondary credits may be considered.  Please note some programs do require specific science courses as well. Please consult our program page and program admission profile page for specific program requirements. 

Applicants to one of our post-graduate programs are required to have their official transcripts from their post-secondary (college or university) studies in addition to their WAEC or NECO scratch card information.
