Exam Invigilation Services

NBCC offers testing and invigilation services at all 6 campuses for individuals requiring exam invigilation for another college, university, or institution. Candidates may be in a separate room, open area, or in a testing center with a number of other individuals testing. Booking options may vary depending upon campus availability of invigilators and/or testing space.

Fee(s)

  • The fee for exam invigilation is $35.00 per hour plus applicable tax.
  • Fee for current NBCC students writing an exam for an outside institution is $25.00 per hour plus applicable tax.
  • Fee for NBCC Alumni writing an exam for an outside institution is $25.00 per hour plus applicable tax. Alumni members must show proof of Alumni status (Alumni card). For further information regarding Alumni status, check out our Alumni section at nbcc.ca
  • Payment must be made on campus PRIOR to start of exam; NBCC accepts cash/cheque/debit and Mastercard/Visa.
  • We do not provide refunds. Requestor must state, in advance, the full length of the exam.
  • Candidates must present picture ID and proof of payment to write.
  • Students or institutions are responsible for postage cost required for return of exam(s). We accept postage-paid return envelopes.
  • Fees for additional testing offered at Moncton campus varies, please contact the campus directly for details.

Hours of service

  • We offer invigilation services at all 6 NBCC locations; booking space is limited at some campuses.
  • Invigilation is conducted Monday through Thursday 9:00am to 4:00pm (if writing a 2-hour exam, the latest a requester can schedule is 2pm Atlantic standard time).
  • Priority for testing will be given to NBCC students; booking may not be available for outside invigilation during peak college exam times.

Scheduling an Invigilation Request

  • Requests should be made a minimum of two weeks prior to exam date.
  • Requestors must ensure their institution’s guidelines are compatible with NBCC’s requirements as outlined here
  • Institutions must ensure that all exam material(s) is provided to the invigilator a minimum of 3-days prior to the scheduled date of the exam.
