Brewery Cleaning and Sanitation
Course Description:
This course provides an essential general knowledge of brewing cleaning, sanitizing and disinfection. This includes common cleaning terminology, brewery hazards and safety, brewery contaminants, clean-in-place (CIP) process, and key equipment that requires cleaning. Students will explore sources of fouling problems that affect efficacy of the cleaning and sanitizing operations in brewery and brewing environment. They will examine preventive actions and methods to eliminate sanitation issues and ensure quality product.
The course is for anyone considering entry into the brewing industry, as well as those pursuing a wider knowledge of the business in order to improve their skills and advance in their brewing careers.
