Education: BA with double honours in history and political science from University of New Brunswick; Bachelor of Laws from University of New Brunswick; Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting from University of Toronto; LL.M. with a concentration in Administrative and Constitutional Law from Osgoode Law School, York University; CA designation.
Experience: Jack is recognized as a uniquely qualified forensic financial and fraud analysis expert with advanced legal and accounting accreditations. He spent 15 years as an associate with New Brunswick’s leading independent law firm before joining Cox & Palmer as a full-time member of the firm. He also worked as a part-time lecturer at UNB Fredericton and Saint John, as well as Mount Allison University and worked with the Government of New Brunswick, overseeing the administration and financial reporting of the province’s pension and trust funds.
Behind the Scenes: Jack has volunteered his time to a number of community organizations, including the Fredericton Emergency Shelter Board of Directors; Epilepsy New Brunswick; Junior Achievement of New Brunswick; Saint John Board of Trade; Kennebecasis Valley Minor Hockey Association; Quispamsis Minor Hockey Association; Kennebecasis Valley Chamber of Commerce; and Quispamsis Community Tennis Association.
Jack on NBCC: I am truly excited to be a recent appointee to the NBCC Board of Governors. As a long-time proponent of life-long learning, I am already very impressed by the caliber of NBCC as an institution, and the caliber of the Board, staff and students of the NBCC. I look forward to providing my insights to the Board in helping the NBCC Management, staff and students reach their goals.
