The aquaculture operations program is a twelve-week program designed to better prepare employees to meet the growing and diverse needs of the aquaculture industry.  The program is aimed at current employees who wish to build upon their aquaculture knowledge, technical skill, and ability as well as prospective employees who have an interest in pursuing a career in the aquaculture industry.  Subjects range from technical knowledge and skills such as salmonid biology and husbandry, the aquaculture production cycle, feeding and nutrition regimes, regulations and policy to important soft skills such as leadership, teamwork and communication skills enabling graduates to be upwardly mobile in their jobs.

Prerequisites: High School Diploma or Adult High School Diploma or GED Diploma of High School Equivalency or Essential Skills Achievement Pathway: Post-Secondary Entry High School Diploma
