Course Overview

Students reach a degree of competency and confidence when speaking French and communicate in typical daily situations using work-related and personal information as topics. Teaching objectives relate to real-life communication, for example students use vocabulary that describes family, friends, the weather and leisure activities to question each other and answer in French.

French Evaluation:  NBCC is pleased to offer you a 10 minute evaluation to determine what level of French you should begin at.  The purpose of this evaluation is to make sure that you start off in the correct class.  Please call 1-833-658-2577 to make arrangements for an appointment.  Evaluations are only needed if you will be starting off in a level higher than Beginner 1.

Payment of course fees is required at time of registration. We accept cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, Money Order or cheque payable to New Brunswick Community College (NBCC).

Participants must be at least 16-years old, unless otherwise noted.

Books are available at the bookstore, prices quoted are approximate. The same payment methods listed above are accepted. There are no refunds for textbooks or materials.

Withdrawal/Refunds: Prices are subject to change. Requests for withdrawal from Continuing Education courses must be made within 20% of course duration. Refunds may take 4-6 weeks to process. An administrative fee may apply.
