Admissions Information

NBCC has designated seats available each year in our regular tuition programs for Indigenous students.  We also offer accessible programs in First Nations communities for Indigenous people.

Important Considerations when Applying

  • Apply early! NBCC accepts all students on a first qualified first accepted basis. To increase opportunities and access to programs, designated seats for indigenous applicants are held for acceptance until June 1st of each year. After June 1st, if there are no Indigenous applicants accepted, the seats are released. Contact NBCC Admissions at 1-888-796-6222 for the most current data on seat availability.
  • Students accepted into a program have 15 days to confirm their acceptance. The $250 confirmation fee must be paid within these 15 days; however, you have options. Indigenous students can request their sponsoring agency to contact the Campus Indigenous Student Advisors to make arrangements for funding to be paid directly to NBCC Admissions Team. The seat will be released if the confirmation fee is not received; therefore, be sure to follow up with your sponsor agency and/or Indigenous Student Advisor to ensure this is completed and NBCC Admissions is notified of your sponsorship funding.

Do you know what your funding options are?
