Class of 1985 - St. Andrews Campus - Marine Mechanics

Apprenticed in heavy equipment with Caterpillar, achieving journeyman status in 1989, journeyman in truck and transport in 1991.

I have worked for International trucks as technician, lead hand and shop foreman from 1995 to 2006.

I am currently working for Peterbuilt Atlantic since 2006 as service manager.

Worked with apprenticeship in 1995, making new exams for trailer trade. I have completed many courses provided by truck and engine manufacturers in all engine, driveline, hvac, air and braking systems.

Each year I look at graduates of the NBCC system in order to hire and apprentice technicians to our trade. I have had the opportunity to speak to the local campus truck and automotive students in 2012, about work practices and ethics of the workplace.
