As someone who was in the workforce for thirteen years and having a young family to support, entering secondary education was a challenging time. NBCC Saint John prepared me for a new career in Power Engineering. I met great new friends and had good instructors who made sure I was trained in all aspects of the career I had chosen. I now work for the NB Power Corporation, as do many of my fellow classmates.

Two instructors who really stood out in my two years at NBCC were Advanced Math teacher Mike Duchesdeau and Power Engineering instructor, the late Gordon MacVicar, who were both instrumental in helping me understand and put in practice the knowledge I needed.
