I graduated from the Business Technology program, ISS option in 1997 at the Saint John campus and was employed shortly thereafter with Baxter Foods Limited in their IT Department.

Since then, I have worked in the IT field in every province & territory in Canada, except the Yukon, and also in Alaska & Maine.  

My training and education at NBCC Saint John allowed me to start my career off in the right direction and I have continued to grow in the IT field all because of it.  It was a tremendous program of two years of blood, sweat and tears.  I am very proud to say I survived it, thrived in it and came out a better person.

The staff were terrific, especially James (Jim) MacNaughton, may he rest in peace, and Joe Marriott.  Both of them were amazing teachers and human beings.   

Jim MacNaughton is the whole reason I have my IT career and I hope where ever he is, I'm the computer geek he knew I could be.

I'm glad that NBCC Saint John was part of my life and I will always carry the cherished memories of my time there with me until the end.
