NBCC launches elevatED to chart college’s next chapter

FREDERICTON – New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) is inviting New Brunswickers to join the conversation around the College’s new five-year strategic plan (2017-2022).

“In 2012, we invited our college and our communities to Imagine the Possibilities,” said NBCC President and CEO Marilyn Luscombe. “Five years later, we have achieved much of what we set out to do and, in many cases, exceeded expectations. From this foundation, we will be launching NBCC’s new journey.”

“Through this process, we intend to challenge ourselves, ask big questions and inspire others to think big and aim high. We hope to not only elevate our College, but also elevate New Brunswick, and elevate the discussions around education.”

Starting October 17, New Brunswickers can join the conversation at nbccelevated.ca or through social media by using the #elevatED hashtag.

“NBCC is an important contributor to New Brunswick’s economy and to our communities. There’s room for all New Brunswickers to help us shape our next chapter,” said Luscombe. “Everyone will have an opportunity to contribute to our strategic plan - whether they have a few seconds, a few minutes or a few hours. Working together, we can all reach new heights.”

The comprehensive online engagement phase will take place from October 17 to November 4 with new topics added weekly and this phase will be followed by in-person engagement experiences for NBCC students and staff.
