NBCC named one of Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers
FREDERICTON – New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) is among Atlantic Canada's Top Employers according to the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers. The College is one of 25 organizations in the region being recognized for offering exceptional places to work.
“NBCC has a strategic commitment to our people and a goal of creating a great place to work and learn,” says NBCC President & CEO Marilyn Luscombe. “Being recognized in this regional competition indicates that we are heading in the right direction.”
The selection committee specifically highlighted NBCC’s commitment to employee learning and development as well as leave policies that include two paid days annually to volunteer in our communities.
“These winning qualities are due to the hard work and commitment of employees throughout the College,” said Luscombe. “While we can all be proud of this external recognition, the work of creating a great place to work and learn is never finished and we will continuously strive to be better.”
“We will continue our efforts to enhance the employee engagement. We recognize that this will, in turn, lead to the increased success of our College for learners, for communities and for New Brunswick’s social and economic prosperity.
